Okay, it’s that time of year again…winter time. A time of colds, sore throats and the flu. How to stay healthy? That’s a good question. This week, I'll be sharing a few tips on how you can stay healthy and enjoy this holiday season without being stuck in bed or keeping tissues close at hand (or up your shirt sleeve if you're my mom.. ha!). There’s a few things I do in addition to getting enough water and sleep. Here's the first one... Elderberry Syrup I love this stuff. This time of year, I take it daily as a preventative to help ward off colds. I take a tablespoon a day and if I’m really starting to feel out of sorts, then I increase it to two tablespoons a day.
