Hi everyone! I have relocated my acupuncture practice back to my hometown of Newark, Ohio. Before the move, many friends, family and patients asked, “Why?”.
Simple answer- I missed my family.
Long answer- It goes deeper than my answer above. I read something that has stayed with me for the past 10 years, which went something like this:
“Sometimes you will have to leave the place you love and the people you love and go far away to learn what you need to. Then it is your responsibility to come back and help your people.”
So after 13 years in Portland, Oregon, I moved back to Ohio- where acupuncture is sorely lacking. What I do (acupuncture) is incredibly helpful, yet it is not easily accessible for those in small towns. I felt it was my responsibility to give back to the place I grew up, to help people in Newark, Ohio feel better. And I truly do want you to feel better.
Before I go, I want to send a big thank you to all my Oregon patients for 8 wonderful years of acupuncture love. I will miss you all.
